I am a Senior Managing Associate at the firm, leading a committed team of professionals at the Cincinnati office. My practice is primarily focused on advising clients in the energy and real estate sectors. I have helped grow the Cincinnati office through commitment to understanding the business and goals of our clients and being responsive to their evolving needs and expectations.
I native of northeast Ohio, I received my bachelor’s degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati. After completing my first year of law school in Indianapolis, I earned my juris doctorate at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. During my second and third years, I was highly involved in the school’s environmental law clinic.
Outside the office, I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my wife and two girls.
REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
- Advised oil and gas operators regarding real estate title in development of Ohio’s Utica Shale
- Served as title diligence counsel to an investment firm for a $80MM credit facility in favor of a Kentucky-based coal company
- Served as lien counsel for unsecured creditors in relation to the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy of an Oklahoma-based oil and gas exploration and production company
- Served as diligence counsel for a Chinese buyer of over $400MM worth of U.S. onshore oil and gas assets
